About Churna Island

Churna Island is famous for snorkeling, scuba diving, boating, Fishing, and other water sports activities 

It is located near Mubarak Village which is just half an hour long drive from Hawksbay Karachi. Churna Island is an unpopulated island which comes under Kemari Town. It is 6 km away from Mubarak Village in Arabian Sea. It is also famous for game fishing in Karachi. There are variety of species of fishes available around there . There are many types of corals around which makes a fishing nursery for thousands of fishes.

Can non swimmier go for snorkeling?

Non swimmers can participate in all our water sports activities. We will give you life jacket and snorkeling gear which help you stabilize on water also our instructors and lifeguards will teach you the complete snorkeling and diving.

How much is a depth of water?

We will do diving and snorkeling, the depth will be around 20 feet which is ideal for the activity. We will also provide you safety gear which will make you feel relax and enjoy at the same time.

What are the boundaries there?
We tie ropes from our boat to island, as Charna is a rock island we cannot ground boat on the island so we cover the area in ropes. You will be fully safe and secure in covered area.

Is it safe to Swim alone or with partner ?
As we cover the area bay safety rope so its highly recommended for you to swim in that area or swim with instructor and life guard.

How can I swim or do snorkeling if I don’t know how to?
Don’t forget our instructors are there to teach you every step. You will easily move with the ropes on the Surface. .

What are the prohibited items to Bring?
you cannot bring any arms and drugs.

What should I bring for swimming?
You should bring your regular shorts, tights, trousers and T-shirts (full sleeves advised) and towel to dry yourself after the diving activity.

What should I bring in my bag?
National Identity Card (MUST), Hat or cap, Sun block- recommended SPF 70 plus, Sun Glasses,Drinking water bottle.

Can I bring my phone and camera?
Yes, you can bring both but make sure that you won’t take it along while jumping at the island. You can take your waterproof camera and phone inside the water.

Can I Park my car at the pick & drop points?
We recommend you to come by uber or careem. So your car will be safe at your home. You can park your car at your own risk. Company won’t take any liability of miss or theft.

What is private trip and can I book it?
Private trips mean we will provide you separate transport boat and other activities. You can book your private trip for weekend and weekdays. However charges of the trip may change.

Is it safe to jump from Cliff?
As it require little rock climbing to reach at the cliff however it is safe under the guidance of our instructors and life guards.

Is there any age limit to join the trip?
persons from any age can join the trip however to enjoy the activity you must be from 3 years to any age.

Can i bring my valuables?
Yes you can on your own responsibility.

Does the trip is safe from natural hazards?
Before leaving for the trip we check the weather updates on internet and also stay in contact with our personal there. If its risky in any case we postpone the trip.

Is it safe to travel to Mubarak Village?
It is totally safe as there are army check posts on our way and we travel on convoy to prevent the risk.
